Title: Which Compton's Most Wanted album should I get?
Post by: dnjp4life on April 17, 2012, 01:20:26 AM
I haven't really listened to that much CMW but I feel like I'm missing out if I don't have at least one of their albums in my collection.  I've heard a few choice tracks and I like MC Eiht but want to know which is their 'classic' release.

Someone mentioned that one of their early albums is similar in production to early Gangstarr work, any one know which one?

music to gang bang is NOT a really CMW album. Only Eiht on that from CMW

it's like CWM 2nd generation or something like that.

Music To Drive-By
Str8 Checkn 'Em

Actually I Can't pick the best from this two.

"Music To Gang Bang" is tight too, but it's NEW and without that old CPT sounding.  8)

Drive By and Checkn Em have some good songs, but It's A Compton Thang is solid, classic mellow old school beats.  Just the beat of "Late Night Hype" alone is worth getting it.
