for the past month, sometimes during/after basketball i get some what of a joint pain on the back right of my knee, when it did hurt during games (couple weeks ago) it was after sprinting for a fast break or going up for boards.
now, it hurts after i play (i can feel it stiffen up n have a lil soreness during the games), but only when I'm going up or down the stairs, I'm in a pretty good amount of pain when i do on the stairs.
i know dubcc is no way shape or form to get a professional medical advice.
but I'm just wondering if this every happened to you, or if u would go check it out if u were in my position.
this all started after i banged knees with a friend, not sure if that was it or it was because i kept landing hard on my knee when going for boards.

man up...it's nothin. basketball's a mans game. body pain is normal when u play ball. my necks been fucked up for the past month. the body typically heals itself naturally, don't trip.

At first I was going to say you probably pulled a hamstring. But since you said it happened after you banged knees with a guy, it's probably just bruised in an awkward spot & when your knee bends it puts pressure on the bruise, hence the discomfort.

lol yea my knee starts hurting after jumping up for boards, but besides that usually, but its not like I'm a high flyer the boards just come to me.
i get a lot of boards for my size, i dont know how, it just comes to me, guess I'm in the right spot at the right time.
anyways yea, i wouldn't be trippin if i rolled my ankle, because than id know whats wrong with me.
this knee problem concerns me because i never felt this before. and it really hinders my game after the 3rd game. knee gets pretty stiff

I have some advice that should be easy for you to remember :P
RICE
Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevate.
And use motrin.

It doesn't sound like a ligament or tendon thing. Sounds like a trauma.

thank god, id be pretty upset if it was something serious
i've been getting pretty frustrated, cuz i can't play, i didnt play for bout i think 2 weeks and than started playing again, it was all well till the last game and when i got home

Well I'm about the farthest thing from a doctor but I've had a few knee surgeries. You more than likely have swelling from a bone bruise or another type of contusion. So RICE is the cure. And don't forget to fuck with the motrin. Take like two weeks off and if its gets worse go to a doc.

or maybe you have brandon roy knee?

That's right. It's mind over matter. The body always seeks to establish a state of homeostasis, or equilibrium. So you just move forward with good clean health in mind and your body will continue to move toward that. But if you are psychologically damaged then your body will also become damaged.
