Ice-T gets a lot of love from the industry, and O.G. is regularly mentioned as a seminal album for the gangsta rap era, i think it's getting his props.

actually i think Ice-T's music has aged very well compared to other raps from the same era.

I often asked myself (& the forum) that question!
By the way, do the peeps who say they love WC & Low Profile know that DJ Aladdin also worked with Ice-T (who actually first discovered WC & gave the duo their first break on the "Rhyme Syndicate Comin' Through" compilation?

On a lighter note, "OG" is also the name of the cognac brand ("XO OG") Ice-T & Cocio rep.
