Snoop is in the studio with new artist Delano, his friend and engineer Nomad and Lil 1/2 Dead, a Los Angeles rhyme o.g. who made a guest appearance on Paid tha Cost and has just been released from prison, looking to make a clean start .Im just trying to enjoy my freedom,1/2 Dead says.Snoop is my homeboy. We been together since we was children. I just knew all I had to do was get out and come home.
And home is looking mighty safe these days. Not only is Snoop out from under the thumb of masters who would keep him down, he's looking to build his own cartel. He's working with a dozen or so new artists rappers and singers as well as assembling something of a dream team of L.A.s could-have-been stars: RBX, Lady of Rage, Daz Dillinger. Call it the anti-Row. Im co-producing, conducting, composing, choreographer, all of that,he says. I put the whole thing down. Its my sound now.
Snoops imprint, DoggyStyle, finally has major label distribution through MCA, and is set to release three albums this year. Snoops eager to make it known that his legacy isnt going to be cut short anytime soon.We got originality, style, charisma; you know a star when you see one. It aint never about proving a point, about trying to show up somebody. I just love good music. I like making music thats timeless, thats gonna be here when Im through with the game. Like I said, Im the boss of the rap game right now. If they dont know that, now they do.

I really hope they're gonna bring the heat and Doggystyle be on top...I've never heard of this Nomad guy,who is he?As for Lil' 1/2 Dead,I hope Snoops signs him to the label. one thing though,it says " a dozen new rappers and singers"..who they're gonna be? I mean,E-White,Delano & Latoiya Williams don't exactly make a dozen......as for the likely others I hope thay bring the heat. :)
