been a huge fan of Alchemist for years now, some of his earlier stuff is classic status imo...however, recently hes changed his sound, and having just listened to his new shit Russian Roulette, im not too sure i like the direction hes moving. has dude been spending too much time with Oh No recently? theres definitely an influence there. i wanna hear full songs, not 24 tracks none longer than 2 1/2 minutes long. he needs to get back to the sound that made him who he is, among the greatest hip hop producers of all time.
Maybe im alone in this opinion, but some of his newer shit hurts my head :-\
EDIT: and im aware of the concept involved in this particular album, but that was just my example, shit has been ongoing for a few years now
with that being said, Fight Confirmation (ft Danny Brown & Schoolboy Q) is dope

I haven't heard anything new from him but he produced Curren$y's Covert Coup completely which was released only last year and was really good so I think he may still have it in him. Of course we don't know how old those beats were..

yeah i mean Covert Coup was pretty good, as was The Antidote with Fashawn, but even then there was a distinct change in his sound. Dude is still a beast with the sampling, but it seems like hes been doing a lot more experimenting recently, and im not a huge fan of the results

I was agreeing with you about that "Russian Roulette" project but since that one he dropped "Rare Chandeliers" and "No Idols" to end that year (2012) strongly. Then, in 2013, "360 Waves", "Albert Einstein" and "My 1st Chemistry Set"... all solid projects. 2014 about to be another great year for Al'.

Covert Coup and Albert Einstein were his best projects in the last few years IMO
"Break The Bank" is crack though
