Idk what to expect
But i hope Snoop shabba Dogg Stays Hip Hop with some Reggae influences
And Not too much singing 🙏
What u think or allready know about the new Album??
Jah Rastafari lol

Fortunately from the few tracks/ videos he dropped the pas couple of weeks, his music ain't turned into reggae music.
Or even the Stoners EP.
Not that there's anything w<rong with reggae music, but that ain't what I expect from Snoop Dogg & I assume none (or almost) of his fans do.
& I thnk he's smart enough to know it & not commit a career suicide making an entire reggae album under the Snoop Dogg monicker. (He can do a song or two on there but in my oipnion, no more than that.

Snoop is like the rap version of Madonna, and in my opinion he is not much needed in rap these days so why not try something different... reggae sounds good in my book.
-
He's always had that Rasta spirit/soul... I think Reggae could be a great sound for him. He needs to get with Damian Marley.

For me, it's either gotta be as varied as Doggumentary (good, fairly eclectic mix of sounds).
Or just very strong musically.
Otherwise I'm out :bandit:

snoop needs to get off that reggae, stop bullshitting, and get some real producers: dre, battlecat, soopafly, fred wreck, hi tek, dj khalil, etc.

It's going to be a piece of shit.

I think this could be a success, what would be wack for him would be to stick to this whole Gangsta image, he kind of look corny when he is on that mode , I rather him giving his best while trying something new than him putting some lazy ass flow over some Battlecat beat

2 a person like me.its garbage but 2 a rasta it might be dope.im not supporting that bullshit tho
-
Snoop looks like he could die at any moment, so wasted stoner music suits him more than gangsta now

teh sound of his upcoming album wit Diplo was origianly meant to be infused wit reaggae.
wouldnt be surprsied if the plans were changed or somthin (rather common wit Snoop-projects), but the song i heard earlier sounds decent
-
How did u hear it
-
the whole album was rumored to be made in jamaica and produced entirely by Diplo. I hope this is true and I agree with Hercy. Snoop needs to try something new and grow as an artist.

You can't really believe what they say though. Snoop also wanted to write Ego Trippin all by himself and have no guest appearances.
-
I would totally dig that. Snoop is sick, and I reggae is goat.

Wack is being generous.

True. He's as mainstream as you can get. I even liked 'Wet' for what it was. That was an entertaining song, just no rap song. If he can do the same with some reggae songs, why not? I mean, I wouldn't buy it but why not bump some Snoop Reggae in the right mood. Could be funny.

To a rasta that listens to real reggae music this would be terrible.
