The best rappers master both styles. Cube=When Will They Shoot Me and It Was A Good Day. 'Pac=Hit 'Em Up and load of shit-Thug Passion, and lots of slow, mournful stuff.

Yep me too...I like both styles but I voted for Hardcore because that's what I always remember more than laid back shit. Goin Out Like Geez, Midnight, Lil Ass Gee (Remix), anything from early Cube, NWA, Ice T, MC Eiht, Brotha Lynch, C Bo, X Raided, Spice 1...hardcore's what I got into first.

some of em are laid back...Too Short, Soopafly, Quik, Swisha House, Ras Kass, Pharcyde, Sadat X...etc...

and some are in between...E-40, Suga Free, Aceyalone, Psycho Realm, Street Platoon, Andre Nickatina...etc

just depends what im doin...and how im feelin...i aint gonna be bumpin Lil Jon if im in a chill mood...and i aint gonna bump Too Short if i want to get hyped up to go out(unless im goin out to have sex)
