They're probably going to lose Lin to Houston, so this was needed. Nice veteran presence, but still not enough.

Why would they lose Lin to Houston? Unless there's something I don't know about, I fully expect them to match that offer sheet. Kidd is good for 20 minutes a game, Lin/Kidd will be a very solid PG rotation.

LOL...of course Knicks will match the offer sheet. Letting Lin go for Jason Kidd would be a disaster.
