Game's upcoming album is no longer titled F.I.V.E.: Fear Is Victory's Evolution.
The West Coast emcee has opted to titled the album Jesus Piece instead - a title he says is inspired by the album's title track, which features Kanye West.
“Trey Songz came with his album Chapter V, and of course 50 had 5 (Murder by Numbers), I just felt like I should jump off that wagon,” said Game in an interview with VIBE. “So I went back into the studio and started doing songs that leaned more towards the title. I think people gon’ appreciate the concept once they hear the music.”
Though the title does have some spiritual connotations, Game indicates that fans shouldn't be expecting Christian Rap, per se. "I’m a Christian but I’m not ‘holier than thou’,” explained the Compton rapper. “Jesus Piece gives me an opportunity to speak about situations that people like me who love God but are still street and still wanna remain themselves without going the Pastor Mase route. It gives the opportunity to know that it’s somebody out there that feels them.”
“You can still have swag and be a Christian, you ain’t gotta wear a suit to church, you ain’t gotta take a bath in Holy water," he added. "You can still have your Ciroc in the club, it’s just a faith thing and making sure you try to do right. I’m still a father, I still smoke, I still rep Compton, I still might shoot dice or have a fight if I have to defend myself.”

Damn, I was really hoping we'd get that no guest features album he talked about after "Red Album" dropped. Oh well. Jesus Piece? He's back to talking about that again.

Not really much of a game fan but props to him for actually naming his album something with meaning attached to it. Now whether its worth a shit musically is another story and i'll reserve judgement.

who here bets 50 Cent trademarked his album name a la G-Unot all over again. Game should just call his album what its gonna be "Westcoast MC claiming 2 bring it back, but utilizes Southern ideas, East coast production, and Pittsburgh style, and dropping more names then a phonebook". Now that's keeping it real.

After finally listening to CA Republic, i no longer have faith that Game can separate his material properly anymore.
No way in hell should Tonight, The Drill, It Must Be Tough be stuck on a mixtape while Speakers On Blast, Drug Test, and Red Nation are on a retail album in stores. Hell "Tonight" with Mele had hit single written all over it.

I loved the Doc and DA, even liked in a lot of ways, but I could barely listen to RED, dude has fallen off as hard as about anyone IMO.

LAX was the last Game project I really liked, everything since then has been lackluster. Game fell off.

the reason he drops names is cause it makes it easier to write his rhymes, and also makes him seem like he is talking about something when in fact he is talking about nothing. so he has a pretty good reason for all that name dropping.
I just hope on his next album cover he isn't bent over or hiding his face.

He's been really hit and miss lately. Seems like a lot of his team are yes men who are afraid to tell him that alot of his shit is wack. I'm still going to give him the benefit of the doubt because he's dropped a lot of dope material in the past. He's one of the few artists who I still check for when he drops a mixtape or album and will buy purely on the strength of his previous track record. I mean, he has it in him but I think he's so concerned with trying to mimic the style that's 'in' at the moment because he thinks he will stay relevant. He doesn't realize that the majority of his fans like the street sound that he used to do and sporadically does now.
