this track and Hoes, Money and Clout was proof that Snoop still had it in '98 just needed the right production
-
Classic shit...
I bought the I Got The Hook Up soundtrack when it came up, mostly just because of this song. This song was very refreshing at the time. Because this was before The Game album came out and we had not heard much from Snoop for a while. He had been stranded on Death Row, then tried to go independent for a minute, I think "Ride On" (which was a banger/lead single and had a nice video) off the Caught Up soundtrack he may have done during his little independent phase (any know what record label is credited on that track). He had some features on Silk's album and Mater P's album.
Bottom line this was the Snoop his true fans were desperate to hear from in those days. A banger from Snoop over West Coast production was hard to find in that era.

Solid track; thanks for the post!

Yeah one of mates bought this album back in the day. I loved that track got him to put it on a mix tape for me.
Cool song and makes you wish Snoop used Soopaflys production more.

Classic. You sure that's Yukmouth though? Sounds like Lil C-Style.
EDIT: Oh yeah, there's also a video for this song.
-
Good song released after Snoop Dogg officaily left Death Row for No Limit.
Produced by Soopafly & engineered by Dave Aron...
Perhaps an instrumental recorded @ Death Row studios before Snoop use it for the No Limit soundtrack ?
-
^doubt it but cant say.
