it's good for the radio, i guess.....but it's got that southern sound 2 it. gotta knock it in the whip to get the true feel...but i prefer that west coast shit, always. still not bad, though.

Yo homie.. it may not be a traditional West Coast sound but I wouldn't really classify it as a South sound...

a lot of daz's recent beats are very south influenced...not sayin it's bad, but it gives off that vibe to me. i prefer the style he did for that N'Matez video. either way, daz puttin out new music is always a good thing.
-
That's okay cuz the south beats are west coast influenced so it comes around in full circle ;)
-
U can't knock Daz for tryin contemporary influenced shit.
There's definitely some Nicki Minaj shit going on here
-
I'll bump this shit when I need something to put kids to sleep.

daz has been southern influenced for a decade now even though he still drops g-funk / gangsta sounding albums, btw that song with Bun B (feel it) is criminally slept on, shit is a banger. can't knock him for emulating that south shit since he's originally from Oklahoma. daz's style meshes well with southern beats imo.

i agree, daz is good at makin dirty south beats....but his hardest shit is and always will be that signature west coast shit.

For the record I think the emergence of the South is part of what ruined hip-hop, so I'm not in favor of any East or West Coast artists emulating the South sound. I just didn't think this song sounded too Southern. There was some kind of autotune type thing going on with the voice and a couple other sounds that hinted towards a Southern influence, but it wasn't much.

it's the drum style, and even the main synth sound used. signature dirty south shit.
