Even if some tracks from the album sampler didn't appeared on the tracklist, this version was supposed to be released in 1998 (Relativity).
I wonder if anyone got some this tracks (bold) I never heard ? I know a copy was floating around ebay some years ago.
THANX.

Props.
Some EA Ski/CMT productions were very intersting (e.g. "Maddogin", "25 With A Meal").
I'd like to listen the whole thang remastered.
-
Ski needs to just put that out already. Who knows when 5th of Skithoven will be completed, so just put out Earthquake first since it is complete. I think putting out Earthquake first will help get him a decent buzz going for 5th of Skithoven. Either way I'm picking both albums up.

Always liked E-A-Ski's productions.
Paper Trippin' is nice
Rush Hour 2 OST is a very underrated soundtrack.
-
Oh shit I never even realized that Paper Trippin' was Ski & CMT. Probably why I love that song! 8)
-
Didn't this album leak? I remember downloading it a couple years ago.

The majority of it has leaked and people threw the tracks together from various sources. I know that there's only a snippet leaked for Welcome To California.

I always thought that it's actually a very short song? Always sounded like an intro to me.

Nope. It's from the Showdown single which contained snippets to 3 songs from the album (including Welcome To California). That's why all we have is a snippet. I think on the Earthquake bootlegs that have been floating around that fans compiled on their own they never tagged it as a snippet, so I can see why you might think that.

so we only have sampler now???? anybody have full album to upload?

Props for this info, where did it come from? It's good to know there's more unleaked material from this album. So what was Mr. Ski & Dr. Dre intended for then if it wasn't on this tracklist?

Like I said, this tracklist was advertised back in 1998 when the album was supposed to drop. You can ask Ski about it - I'm sure he'll confirm it.
"Split Personality" aka "Mr. Ski & Dr. Dre" was indeed recorded for "Earthquake" but Dre later changed his mind and he didn't want it to be released so it was scrapped from the tracklist - there's an old E-A-Ski interview when he talks about how Dre loved the concept of this record and the track itself but later called Ski and said he don't want it to be released, at least with his part. Ski said he believed it was because Dre didn't produce the record but who knows why he liked it at first and then had a change of heart ;)

I definitely believe you about that being the official tracklist, I was just curious where it was advertised.
Now that you mention it I am pretty sure I have read that interview with E-A Ski where he says that because that definitely rang bell.
-
^^^Well, the album was advertised in Source and all kinds of different Hip-Hop magazines back in 1998 but I also believe Ski posted this tracklist on his old website - www.mreaski.com.
It was years ago tho, so I don't remember if that's 100% correct but I do believe he posted this tracklist - Ski is very active on Facebook so you can always ask him about ;)
