Top 4 is on point but Rose at number 5 after the season he had is nonsense .. Rondo should be top 10 too

Agreed.
For those who are not like Cham and actually care about players other than LeBron, here is the top 10 ranking.
10) Deron Williams, Brooklyn Nets
9) Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder
8) Dwanye Wade, Miami Heat
7) Kevin Love, Minnesota Timberwolves
6) Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
5) Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls.
4) Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers
3) Dwight Howard, Los Angles Lakers
2) Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
1) Lebron James, Miami Heat

Other players of note:
Drik: 11
Rondo: 12
Bynum: 13
Blake: 14
Gasol: 15
Parker: 16
Carmelo: 17
Bosh: 18
Nash: 19
Aldridge: 20
Garnett: 21
Anthony Davis: 62
-
Yeah, I'd switch Rose & Melo.
-
lol@dwight above kobe...couldnt even finish the season out. bynum was even better than dwight in the 2nd half of last year. smh@bspn, as always
-
Every media source/outlet that doesn't claim Kobe to be in the top three is "biased & bullshit" lmao.

i didnt say anything about where kobe should rank, just that dwight should obviously not rank ahead of him. relax yaself, biebs.
-
Ah B-Ball season is coming. #kingstoseattle
-
1-rondo
2-lebron
3-durant
4-love
5-blakey g
those are my top 5 players to watch this year 8)

cmon, its BSPN, forget about the kobe thing, there was a grip of errors and misrankings throughout the list.
im not saying im looking for perfection but certain shit was way off.
lol remember blake griffin being in the top 10 last year? just wow.
but D-rose and D-Howard being that high is ridiculous.
i dont know what really their logic is, if its not based of last years performance, is it based on youth + expectations for the next year?
but love over dirk? im guesing its not based off career achievements as well (if it we're a factor kobe should be a bit higher, prob 5 or 4)
but for damn sure CP3 and howard are not the better players in LA. especially with the season howard had, if he we're healthy than id say its reasonable to put him ahead of kobe.
but most def it sould of been
1. Lebron
2. Durant
3. Kobe
4. CP3
5. Rondo
my logic includes, this coming years expectations, what they did last year, career achievements (considering if there is a tie this would be the tie breaker), and being healthy.
rose and dwight on there after their seasons is just blasphemous
-
Kobe and CP3 over Rondo? in 2012-2013? I dunno about that.....I'll take my man Rondo 8)
and i'd take CP3 over Kobe now too....just cuz he's much younger and his legs don't need freaky surgery in europe lol
-
lol...Kobe had a better season than cp3...the whole "Kobe aging" stigma has been getting way overdone. lets not pretend like Kobe didnt have the scoring title in his hands last season, until he decided on his own terms to relinquish it. Nash is 5 years older and still playin at a high level. mufuckaz act like Kobe is limpin out on the court and shit....he's still Kobe and still drops 30 on ya with ease.
-
just wait til this year when CP3 is owning your 40 year old point guard
-
These rankings don't factor in career achievemtents. Though I'm sure a lot of ESPN voters took it into consideration. It's a list of whose the best right now. I think Rose at 5 is crazy since he's injured and we don't know wether he'll be fully healed.

yeah i hope the Bulls keep him out til he's 100% healthy
you can't risk a young kids future or else he could become a Brandon Roy story in 5 years

which is the proper way to do it BTW
just cuz Kobe did all this and that doesn't mean he will do as well next year. esp when he's gotta work with a whole new team.

Kobe bout to have his best season yet..

Kobe is another year older...that's not good for an old man his age. it's not like he's Chris Paul who's in his prime. Paul lead a SHITTY team last year to the playoffs while Kobe had a better roster around him. all Paul has is Blake Griffin and Deadne Jordan becaues Chauncy's ass got hurt too early in the year...yet they finised within 1 game of the Lakers.
Kobe won't be as good next year as last year for sure and he wasnt as good last year as the year before. it's called a natural decline...everyone but Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens has them lol
-
NIK clearly didn't watch the Clippers in the playoffs.
