I'm waiting for my copy to come...
Although I might stream it through Spotify if my copy doesn't get here within the next few days...
I like the few songs that have dropped already... Vinnie is dope...
-
Damn this album is dope as fuck. I've been bumping it all days and can't find weak points of this record.
Standout tracks:
2. Slum Chemist - somehow reminds me of old Jedi Mind Tricks tracks. Dope intro at the beginning of the track. Great beat.
6. Crime Library
8. Duel To The Death - Vinnie + Mobb Deep = dope combo!
10. battle Hymn - AOTP back together again!
12. Jake LaMotta - probably first ever happy track from Vinne.
14. Cheesesteaks - i've told it before - for me it's a track of the year. Great beat, great mood, great lyrics.
This record is shining. Best JMT/AOTP releated release in years!

Pretty good album.
Best tracks, IMO:
Slum chemist, cheesestacks, you can't be neutral...(sounding like the old early Jedi Mind Vinnie), Wolves Amongst Sheep, Geometry of Business (ILL BILL's verse is INSANE 'planets travelling backwards through blackholes, worshipping Sun Ra, etc), and Razor Gloves.
If you like Paz, you wouldn't have slept on Heavy Metal Kings.

HMK is a great album IMO, try again. ;)

Heavy Metal Kings was my favorite album of 2011.
Its still my go to album.
Its a GREAT album, IMO. and mad under-rated even by Paz and Ill Bill fans. No fillers. The beats, the concepts, the quality of the writing.
In fact....I'd say its my favorite album of all time. If I was stranded on a tropical island with only hostile savages and all i had was this album and a way of constantly listening to it, I'd eventually be the emperor and living god of that tiny island nation, having enslaved and subjugated the hostile masses through spectacular acts of ultra violence and an engineered religion.
This is Heavy Metal Kings, hard-body-shit sniffin' white, I'm concerned with dying, yall are concered with livin' life
This is meant to played REALLY loud to do it justice:

I was about to smoke to this album, but this shit is too hype. Better I smoke to The Man With The Iron Fists and bump this album in my headphones at the gym...
