Title: Why DJ Quik never sampled Debarge songs?

Interesting,

Quik and El Debarge have a great friendship since 1996. Quik considers him as his brother and went on to say that already has El as inspiration.

Soon, samples of Debarge songs would be very easy to clear.

Why Quik never used them?
