ima buy my first domain really soon... and i wonder if 500mb monthy transfer is enough...or maby i should take 2gb transfer

2GB Transfer?? Ain't That Going To Cost ALOT Of Money.

Anyway When My Site Goes Up Then I Might Buy A Domain From www.123-reg.com

Its Like £2.89 for co.uk domain.

damn you.... :-/......i know that site... but i cant buy since i aint got no credit card... and i dont wanna ask somebody who has... ... i have to pay $60 (for 2 years... + 3 month free 100mb host) ....

Yeah I Know A 12 Year Old Web Designer And His Mum And Dad Wont Let Him Use A Credit Card To Buy A Domain With, He's Got The Same Problem As You, But Theres A Website Where You Dont Need A Credit Card, Thats What He Is Using.

shit i got the same problem. i need a fuckn domain, im still on that free hosting bullshit, cheap angelfire stuff. im too layzie to get a domain  ;D

I SIGNED UP, THEN LOOKED AT DOMAINS, ADDED THEM 2 MY BASKET AND WENT TO THE CHECKOUT

just remember... you need hosting after buying the doimain name - they are separate.

cheap "domain names" probably dont include hosting... just the control to allow you to change the DNS entries.

I have 10 gigs of transfer with my service and lets say I have trouble sustaining that. 2 gigs is fine if you plan on a small amount of visitors, but if you plan to get more visitors then 5gigs is the least... I usually get around 13-15 gigs of transfer a month.... i haven't gotten my first bill yet, but i think i'll have to pay for more now......

try using dreamhost.com, they can purchase the domain etc for you and are relatively cheap. i think its $8/usd a month, 145Gb of storage, and 1.45Tb of data transfer a month, and that increases by 1gb each month
