Title: Your Top 5 of 2012
Post by: WalterOhDim on December 07, 2012, 10:13:41 AM
It's that time to wrap up another year muthafuckaz and I must say 2012 has been a good year for rap.

Name your Top 5 favourite or most listened to songs of the year, maximum of 2 songs per artist (no stanning).

Mine in no particular order...

1)  Louis XIII - Xzibit ... all around good feeling song.  Destroyer beat and just fun times!
2)  Roses - Nas ... eery and haunting... one of Nas' best on the album for sure.  Killer chorus
3)  Jesus Piece - Game  .... one of THE most banging songs on any system.  This shit will knock ya socks off.  Straight fire.
4)  New Day - 50 Cent .... epic song epic drums good hook!
5)  Meaning of Life - Xzibit  ... deep song from X to tha Z ... inspiring  and killer beat it's huge.

Nope... rap in general my man.  I think the west had a particularly strong year so I predict a good showing... and we're all a lil bias right  8)

Disappointing thing of the year:

After hearing the Intro for Son of Yvonne, I thought MF Doom would be Masta Ace's Mom on the record. Very disappointed he wasn't.
