if you were forced to listen to one for an entire day which would it be?
-
i will choose to seat in silence :D
-
Tyga, I really liked Rack City, and The Motto. Those are catchy hits, inspired by Bay Area artists that I like (E-40 & Mac Dre). so I guess he has other cool stuff out, although i've never taken time to listen to it.
Don't know about YG though, I didn't like his cypher, and I didn't like his song with Kurupt either. His verse on Function was average as well when IamSu and 40 ripped it.
-
neither.
-
I think my choice is obvious ;).
-
Suicide is not an option?

wack vs wack.but i admit.tyga do rap better than yg.yg rap just like soulja boy
-
I'd prolly go with Tyga too. "Rack City" was cool. "Faded" was a club banger too, but that song where he sampled "Deep Cover" was horrible though.

listening to either of these artists for an entire day would result in just that.
-
i like both. but it's hard. tyga has some good songs about life which some you imbeciles fail to realize. but YG is almost just mindless street music(how can u hate that) he got the hood in the forefront. always showin love and nobody exposin him he stay gettin into fights at cities. might sound dumb but atleast he doesn't have the whole police force guarding him(cough cough 50 cent cough cough)

+1.

They both SUCK.
Dunno how they could get themselves an "audience" at all? The only tracks of either one of these cats I'll ever listen to are the ones with TALENTED artists like Snoop or Nipsey.
-
Definitely Tyga. He has some INSANE beats and his flow is sometimes entertaining too..
I will not call him lyrical or hate on him for lack of lyricism cause thats not what you bump Tyga for.
-
Where you from, KC?
-
Tyga got some hits. YG is below average. YG gets listened to because of DJ Mustard beats.

even though some of his beats get repetitive I have to say he does have a very signature sound influenced by G-Funk/Bay Area... a few beats on that YG mixtape were :o to me but for the most part YG wasn't rocking them right lol
-
I thought "Playin'" was the best track off YG's latest mixtape tho...Cardo came thru with a smooth beat.

that track was tight... beat was on some Kush & OJ level

Straight up! Gotta love the DJ Quik influence on his sound.

Tyga had some dope joints on "Careless World", some introspective stuff, and of course the club bangers. So I'll go with him.

To help people not sure what my (fucked up, to you) head is thinking, I'm evaluating this match-up like this.
Tyga has a handful of collabos with Schoolboy Q back when they were both part of G.E.D. His first mixtape was also distributed (or something like it) by Top Dawg Entertainment and has features from Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Lil B (more specifically The Pack) and Dubb.
YG meanwhile just has a bunch of songs produced by DJ Mustard.
T-Raw wins.
-
YG fsheez

His nickname should be T-Vestite just cuz he's gay. T-Raw is a pretty gay name though so it kind of fits.

Tyga is TRASH - I rather listen to YG.
-
I say YG because most of his beats are provided by DJ Mustard who does entertaining songs (even though they all sound the same)
-
YG just as bad if not worse than Soulja Boy .
YG > Soulja Boy > Tyga
and not by very much since they are all essentially the same
-
YG
Just Re'd Up 2 is great.
-
none of em. :-X

Just Re'd Up 2 is great.
Great? All the songs i've heard from YG have been average as fuck. If that mixtape is dope, i might check it out though.
-
i'd say soulja boy is much worse than both
