It was a shock to many when ‘BasedGod’ rapper Lil B was beaten to the chance of performing at the Grammy Awards by a virtually unknown pop-punk band.
Lil B had been entered into the Grammys “Gig of a Lifetime” contest and widely expected to win.
Now it turns out that he did indeed win, but didn’t perform because he didn’t read the email from the ceremony’s organisers.
Lil B tweeted:
thank you to cbs and the grammys.forgive me for reading my emails late, thats why i didnt perform i missed grammys email crazy”

This is why performers still need management ::)

Why let someone else take care of your business if you can do it yourself?

I don't like dude at all but putting that aside, is he actually popular enough to be at the Grammys? Never knew he had a mainstream following.

Industry cats gotta see someone like B (with a following as big as his) to be a fortune waiting to happen

Over 83 million YouTube views and 626,000 Twitter followers is a pretty big deal. Please respect the bitch

His views and followers are prolly 10% of those numbers...it's old news that these numbers are falsified heavily by the labels.

Yup, but Lil B isn't signed or affiliated with any label nor will he ever be by choice

Sorry but I don't buy that. Even if his label appears to be independent, he and his clique were put on, trust that. They'd like u to think he's just a random Internet sensation but that's bullshit. They push that gay agenda, get invited to the Grammys, etc which doesn't happen unless you're the payroll.
