So, I have about 15-20 random Messy Marv songs and I realized finally that this nigga is dope. I'm finna blow about $50 on Marv songs on iTunes. I need some recommendations. And I need some answers to these questions:
1) What are Marv's best songs? Best albums?
2) In your opinion, is Messy Marv a real nigga or a bitch nigga? I know he's a cokehead. But that doesn't decide the matter.
3) Who produced the "Class of 84" diss on Too Short? I love Too Short, but I gotta admit, that beat is FIRE and Mess sounds dope over it. Any more songs with Mess over that producer's beats?

Bandannas, Tattoos, and Tongue Rings is his best album cohesively IMO... he was in his prime from 2004-2006
I'd cop that Explosive Mode Vol. II with San Quinn as well, and probably Bullys Wit Fullys' The Infrastructure too

Messy Marv has too many dope songs to name it but regarding albums you can easily pick everything he did since Messy Situationz till Messy Slick, after 2007 his music becomes less good

Albums :
Messy Situationz (1996)
Explosive Mode (1998) with San Quinn
Turf Politics (2002)
Bandannas, Tattoos & Tongue Rings (2005)
Gettin That Guac (2006)
even his last projects sound nice, especially the New Frank Lucas Dat Never Wore Da Mink Coat (what a stupid title) which have several slappers
Random songs among my favorite, especially the ones in bold :
Keep it on the D.L. (1996)
http://Pop Ya Collar feat. San Quinn, E-40 & Mixture (1998)

don't know for sure, but judging from the style i'd say it could be A.D. of Proof Avenue who also produced Gotta Pay Me original & remix.

Regarding the producer of Class of 84:
I bought the "New Frank Lucas" album - extremely dope - and it sounds to me like nearly all the beats on this album were produced by the same guy who produced Class of 84. You Gotta Pay Me and Block First are without question from the producer of Class of 84.

Street Figures from that album with Berner is my favorite song from Messy
-
the world is a geto , nice song , my favorite ..but i aint a big fan of his music . his flow is boring and dude sometimes sounds fake

Yo props for all the recommendations...I ended up dropping like $60 on The BoyBoy...I'm glad to throw some money Messy's way, I'm sure he's gonna blow it all tomorrow on frivolous shit...purchasing Mess albums is good for the economy.
I think "Kocaine Ballads" and "Da New Frank Lucas" are the most solid releases from Mess. Production value on these two albums is extremely high, every song bumps.
Who are some of the producers Mess works with? Lots of great beats on Cake and Ice Cream vol. 3 also. Who produced Ape Shit? That track goes.

Also, does The BoyBoy Young Mess still have a Twitter account? It seems his account has been taken down.

Anybody know when Playboy Gangsta is coming out?

Homie you ought to buy the whole album, I love every track on that shit...Block First, Life's a Trip, Sosa, and You Gotta Pay Me are the best songs on the album, but to me it's one of those rare ones you can play beginning to end without skipping.
