nice interview

Quote
[I told him], “Nigga, we not gonna become enemies over this bullshit. Let me go. Let me roll with my album.” He was like, “Tila, I don’t want you to go. But if you want to go, I’ll let you roll.” And I did. And it was a mistake. I should’ve sat my ass down and sat behind that mothafuckin’ board with him and let him do what he do. ‘Cause at the moment…come on, [as] soon as I left, he came with 2001. Wow. [Laughs] I felt like an asshole. It was a big mistake.
he still says its a bootleg, but since he got the music from dre, im sure he put it out

i bet if tan tan got the interview he'd just be asking him stupid questions like "did you ever go a song with swoop g" and "does it make you gay if you get oral sex from another man to impress your online girlfriend?" lol

I think that's the trick to getting Dre to releasing your stuff. Once people finish recording their shit, they usually sit back and wait for Dre to mix it up. But Dre will just sit on it. If you get in the studio with him, and help him mix that shit the way you want, then you'll see it. I figure that's how Eminem picked up producing, and you always see pics of Snoop and Game sitting next to Dre. 'Cause Dre will sit on you stuff unless you get him to want to put it out.

he mentioned it in another recent interview too. i got mad respect for people who can admit their mistakes. unfortunately most rappers lack that ability.

Great interview.  He sounded likeas good as ever on 'Louis XIII' so an album in that vein would be worth listening to.
