Going to be the worst year I've ever watched lol.

lol. I suppose he's an improvement over Francisco.

this years team might make 2008 look good

Are they taking on his entire salary?

probably...we have brian CASHman after all
-
Lol well if anyone can take on the salary it's the Yankees. Is he starting? Even though he's sucked the last few years he still seems like a guy you could get lightning in a bottle with, he was a nice player not too long ago..
-
Just $13 million.

he'll be starting in April or platooning with Bosch
but we'll be going with Gardiner, ichiro and Grandyman if they are all healthy. that's a lethal lineup....3 speedy guys two guys who can hit for average and the other one will hit 30 homers

espn will be giving the yankees the cowboys/lakers treatment this year. gonna be entertaining till it gets nausiatingly annoying. 8)

This.
I would much rather they gave someone from AAA a shot at some playing time over Wells.
-
They should just get wild & throw the kids in the fire. Their top three prospects are Tyler Austin, Gary Sanchez & Mason Williams. Two outfielders & a catcher. I get Harper was an absolute phenom, but let the kids play. I'd pay to watch the future. I can't sit there & watch Vernon, Curtis, Ichiro & Gardner hit a combined .207.

He was supposed to be ready in the rotation for the start of the season. But due to recent setbacks, they're placing him on the 60-Day DL & are expecting a June debut. Hopefully we're still relevant by then lol.

"they" say he'll be ready to go by June.
which to me means SEPTEMBER at the latest. fuck that nigga. and fuck A-rod for vouching that he's a dope pitcher!!
-
A-Rod & Pineda will come back & make cases for Cy Young & MVP.

I see you've discovered the Yankees' motto.
Their top three prospects are Tyler Austin, Gary Sanchez & Mason Williams
As much as I want to see those guys play none of them have ever played above single-A, they're far from MLB ready. If you want to see them play go see a RiverDogs game.
If anything the home-grown guys that should've gotten the job are either Mesa or Almonte.
I'm going to take this as a sign that Cashman doesn't know how to trust his own farmsystem and give anyone who's not over 35 a chance. I don't know if it's because he's discouraged after seeing his last few attempts at creating a contender using his farm-hands fail in front of his eyes (like the three headed monster that was supposed to be Hughes-Chamberlain-Kennedy or the one that came after it with Brackman, Betances and Banuelos) but until management finally shows a willingness to put more trust and effort into developing prospects I'm going to think that Cashman & co. will find some way to screw up the potentially bright future the Yankees have with Sanchez, Austin, Williams, Heathcott, Campos and Hensley.
