^ Yeah, though apparently he was always on the song from the beginning.

I feel like there might be another version.  I remember when the song was first talked about years ago, the people who had heard it said that there were very few lines by Pac, something like eight bars or something, but when NY'87 leaked, it was practically a full verse, and I don't see anyone confusing a typical-length verse for being something really short to the point where you'd comment on it.

Anyone have any input on that?

I doubt there is. Maybe It is possible that the version with 2pac that we have is missing deadly threats outro layers, that are on Wideawake version?

Lance told me that he is pretty sure about the NY 87 session. So I think it is pretty sure that the 2pac version is the og. Maybe they did another version, but I doubt.

The first time that the song had ever been mentioned was when the master reel for NY'87 was for sale on eBay for something like $10,000.  That was the one that people were saying had a really short Pac verse.  Had there ever been any confirmation of that track being the exact same one as what leaked (or at least the same in terms of content)?

The version with 2Pac sounds to me like his verse was just pasted on at the end because the verse starts very abruptly.
