Frank Alexander, Author, BodyGuard and TV Personality Passed Away
Apr 29, 2013
(Agoura Hills, CA)
Frank “Big Frank” Alexander passed away in his Murrieta CA home at approximately 4:45pm last night.
Alexander was best known for his role as Tupac Shakur’s bodyguard and friend, who was present the night the rap star was shot. He went on to write the book “Got Your Back” and appeared in several TV shows and documentaries relating to the fatal shooting.
“I am getting this out there to head off rumors of the event. My best friend of 16 years passed away last night. I am waiting to hear on the details. When I do and it is the truth, I will let everyone know. Please respect his family and friends in this time of loss” said Richard Bond of Bonded Films, Alexander’s producing partner.
“Frank was one of the true believers that justice would come for his friend Tupac. We talked every day and I am at a complete loss as to how and exactly why this happened. Frank was a dear friend; we talked last Friday and he wanted to see his new grand-daughter born. This is a senseless and horrible occasion. And with his death, so might also go any hope of bringing Pac's killers to justice. Frank and Yak (Yafeu Fula) were the two closest witnesses to the shooting. I don’t get this.”
The circumstances surrounding his death have not been released and are still being investigated. He is survived by his daughter Vanessa and grandchildren (one is expected within the month.)

RIP Frank.
VERY sleezeball of RJ Bond to throw in the quote below in the first statement he releases about Frank's passing. Trying to make it seem like Frank's death might be because he was a witness to Pac's murder, to fuel his conspiracy theories. SMH.

Damn I was just watching a bunch of his interviews the other day. Like it or not, there goes the absolute last hope of ever finding out the true behind the scenes details surrounding Pac's ladt days. I get the feeling over time he would've spoken on a lot more personal shit.

Don't know anything about the situation, all speculation, but suicide seems unlikely as he was about to witness the birth of his granddaughter.
RIP to him, I bought his book and it was a great read. Damn that had to be 10+ years ago.

Dude was milking the hell out of the 2pac conspiracy theories lmao. Bottom line is that Orlando along with his uncle and so on killed 2pac. Nothing more nothing less.
Suge didn't set it up or any of that stupid shit. Frank might've been an agent even. He was not credible though and was milking idiotic 2pac stans.

It had a number of inaccuracies though, and some stuff that was definitely fiction.

Have some mixed feelings about Frank. I mean, after all this dude was the one man most responsible to protect Pac's life on the night he was murdered. I'm certainly not saying it was his fault, as it appears he did everything he could. But still...
Other then that, I read his book and he seemed like he really loved Pac. Seemed like a good dude. RIP Frank Alexander! This is a shock considering how young he was.

regardless if he sold out or not, a man has lost his life. RIP Frank. :'(

Maybe the 2pac thing was still weighing on his conscience too heavy, and he committed suicide?
