Mike Woodson said that Amare Stoudemire (knee) could play in Game 3 on Sunday May 11.
He is going to have contact in practice on Thursday and Friday, so that will be a big step to help determine his status for the second round. STAT has been out since March 7 and he missed 53 games during the regular season with problems in both of his knees. The Pacers allowed the least amount of points in the Eastern Conference while leading the NBA in field goal percentage allowed, so Amare's return would be a welcomed sight.

amare and melo have zero chemistry...as good as amare is, they may just be better off without him.
