He has a lot of cheesy/corny songs. However, he has a lot of great funky songs too.

My favorite stuff from him are his songs produced by Teddy Riley : Make It Last Forever (1987), that album bangs from start to finish, otherwise Keep It Coming (1990), Get Up On It (1994) and Keith Sweat (1996).

A slew of my favorite songs from him

Thanks I listened to those. Not really my thing really, just doesn't resonate. But I now remember why his name was familiar, from Mannie Fresh's album... "we couldn't afford Keith Sweat but we got Sweaty Keith instead" or something like that. :D

Keith sweat is the shit. "I want her" is one of my favs, has that new jack swing vibe. Twisted, curious, the list goes on.

dude's corny as fuck, anybody ever listened to his show "the sweat hotel" lmfao, it would crack me up when I would come across it on the radio when i was in the US. but dude is a dope producer in his own right (even if nothing will ever top his music produced by Teddy Riley, which he co-produced btw), I loved his production of Dru Hill's Love's Train, I even love the cover better than the ConFunkShun version and I'm a ConFunkShun fan.

I listen to the sweat hotel every night. Great music selection and he's hilarious to listen to.
