Title: I finally like In Da Club by 50 cent.......

Damn, i dont even like 50 cent really, and i didnt feel in Da CLub that much at first.  However, i am now realizing just how dope the song is......ya, the beat is simple and the lyrics are nothing new, but nonetheless this song is one of the greatest club songs EVER!   DRE is back on top with this one, this song was requested at least a 1000 times when my buddy was djing on friday, and everyone requests it for their friends birthdays and shit cuz of the "Go shortie, its ya birthday".........that line, as wack as it is, is part of the reason this song is so fucking huge.

I cant front on In Da CLub, even if it aint my type of song, it is a GREAT song. I just wish Dre coulda gave this beat to Nate DOgg, that is what NAte needs to have a hit of his own.........peace

You know homie, that's just like me. The first few times I heard the tune I was like "hmmm..okay." It just didn't grab me. But when I bought the CD, turned up the system ad sat back, it blew my mind. It's a DOPE Dre beat. That moment at the start of each verse where he takes the orchestra hits down a key is crazy - it's so subtle but gives the whole beat a twist, just like the additional hits he puts in on the second half of each chorus of If I Can't.

But yeah, 50 makes it too. "If you saw me you'd mistake me for a playa or pimp / Been hit with a few sheels but I don't walk with a limp (I'm a'ight!)" has been my line for weeks now... :)

Yeah when ur drunk this song is the shit, u juss wanna dance, I remember when it was my birthday lol all day I was hearing "Go Patrick Its urr birffdayy"

Thursday night I was at the Club, the played the song.  After it was over, the DJ Goes "who wants to hear that shit again!?" so he played it twice in a row, lol.  The crowd was loving it.  

Then on saturday night the DJ just put a bunch of different verses on the beat, it was like 15 minutes long, that is one of the most popular beats I can even think of.

I reacted to this song the same way I did Still D.R.E.
In the beginning, I wasn't too impressed since the beat was too simple, but now I could honestly say that this is the best beat to come out of Aftemath in years (since Dre's 2001, I suppose)
