A Tampa man has been charged with animal cruelty after police say he strangled a family dog, then cut up its body parts and stored it in the freezer for future meals.
A police statement says Thomas Elliot Huggins, 25, was arrested Friday morning on the animal cruelty charge. It was not immediately clear if he has an attorney and there wasn't a working phone number listed for Huggins.
Police say once Huggins strangled the young dog, he cut it up into quarters and stored it in the freezer for future meals. A family member called police late Thursday and when officers arrived, they found the dog's ribs cooked in a pot on the stove. The dog's head was in the garbage.
Animal control removed the remains of the dog.

Dog, cat, etc probably all taste good, I mean people eat rabbit, lizard, lamb etc. What is really the difference with eating a dog or cat besides the fact that we feel a certain way about those animals in our culture.

lol no and kangaroos, koala bears, wombats, emu's and platypus's are not pets either. We do eat kangaroo though.
Personally i dont care if someone eats dog unless it is somones beloved pet i mean i eat duck quite a bit i guess some would consider that wrong too?

koreans are known for eating dog, not the chinese, i think chinese are known for eating cats n shit, n some other place they eat rats n shit. woudlnt ever eat a cat or rat though
but its not THAT common, its partially illegal in korea but they turn a blind eye, i want to try it havent yet, but im sure theres people that love it, but i know its not as big as it used to be back then

Somehow I'm convinced that that dog died a much less cruel death than most cows, chickens or pigs that died that day. Plus lived a way more pleasant life. I know that's beside the point, eating pets is just taboo in western societies, doesn't make it less pathetic, though.

Your in China so i cant fuck with what you sayin then but in Australia its teh Chinese that are know for eating dog. Ive never heard anyone say that about Koreans its just a stero type tha tthe Chinese have. Every time you hear anything about dog eating its always about China or Vietnamese.
I work with shit loads of Asians, i sit with a table full of them and its more just joked about really but one viet guy i work with used to eat dog and rat and etc.
I've also seen documentary's about China and i seen that there were restaurants that served dog, i mean liek a whole district where dog was the main thing and it was packed out and they was all loving it.
But i guess that dont mean they all eat it.
But yeah Asians are known for eating everything, i've eaten squid tentacles on tha BBQ with them, i ate some gross cold jelly fish salad thingy, i seen some of em eat fish eyes and chicken feet, etc.

I eat those vietnamese meat rolls too, man they stink but they taste good.

I chilled with a good amount of eses back in the day, but I don't act like I know Hispanic culture better than actual Hispanics themselves, becaus e I don't, because I'm not, although I was exposed to the culture I didnt grow up in it nor do I know everything about it, and I know that, and damn sure I wouldn't. Which reminds me of another disturbing incident some years ago in florida of course, where some fool in his early 20's who was jacking off outside & his mother caught him doing that. Seconds later, the son decides to beat her down ??? Of course, why didn't he do that inside his own room?
