I've watched it - Spider made a terrible mistake by laying his hands down. He should learn from Roy Jones - when your close to 40, your no longer in your prime even tho you can still be consider as best P4P MMA fighter in the world. The speed, quickness and reflex ain't what it used to be... still, it was unexpected by most viewers to see Silva lost like that - plus, it blew away the potential fights with Jon Jones or GSP, which is really a shame... oh well, shit happens.

Yeah, I'm just a casual MMA fan but for as revered as Silva is I was surprised to see him taunting as much as he was. My friends were saying that he's a counter-striker, but does he always do it to that extent?

this as exactly opposite he was faster than Wiedman to the point he couldn't do anything but it seems that Silva did not really care about and was asking to lose
