Post by: TraceOneInfinite Flat Earther 96' on July 15, 2013, 12:53:03 AM
Been mentoring my lil homie Yatz aka Melodic, a 14 year old MC from Afghanistan.  Here's a sample of one of the cuts we recorded just the other day...

He's my young understudy/
from a land where it's never sunny/
Came to me with no hope, no money/
No way to make a wage/
So I taught him how to catch foodstamps/
and he became a champ at playin victim/
Would kick a sob story to whoever would listen/
Taught him to abuse drugs/
and showed the kid mad love/
he learned to be a thug/
yeah a straight G/
We travelled together to the Holy City of jinn/
Passed by grave and sullen men
On a road to Mekkah, for Allah we washed our face/
beneathe a grave we discovered an ancient staircase/
Inside was a lowly apartment/
an underground tunnel for an Ommayed Sultan who outsmarted/
The Abbasid invaders entering the town/
he departed into this enchanted demention/
We read their graffitic inscription/
and brought dead souls back to life just to listen/
about how to be the dopest in the ways of words/
and the world of poets, it opened up doors/
to even more dimensions/
that's why we are the next great invention/
in words and sonnets/
because we struggled and sacrificed upon it/
This was just some of the sessions of his teachings/
I was a mentor to him, to keep him believing/
that he would become the greatest Emcee breathing!!
