Had no idea E-40 went to Grambling. Not surprised, dude couldn't make the songs he's made without being intelligent. His slang and flow are unfukwitable. College is def not an indicator of intelligence, i know many brilliant people that made $ and never set foot on a campus. But i will say in the earlier hip hop days, it was not uncommon to have some of these dudes that attended colleges.  None of these young cats are doing that today...shit most of em can barely form a sentence. If i remember, Chubb Rock was in medical school at brown university.

Sprinkle me mane.

it's not going to college, it's graduating.  i knew some dumb mofos that made me look like Einstein in college but none of them lasted 4 years.

That's true, out of the 50 guys on my dorm floor as freshman about 8 of us graduated lol. At least within 4 yrs, maybe some of them finished later.

But to my point, rappers today def aren't doing that period, it was much more common back in the day.

It's crazy hearing b-legit's and e-40's voices on here. You can hear a hint of what's to come later.

On a side note, GSU should use this song now for incoming freshmen.
