This is a new version of the story I haven't heard. Snoop describes a song off an EnVogue/James Brown sample, that Warren G created or played for Dre or something that got him noticed by Dre. I assumed it was "Long Beach is A Mutherfucker" or "I Don't Like To Dream About Gettin Paid" (one of the tracks from that little 213 tape that nobody has)

Man, now I'm listening to Ignorance is Bliss. I'd love to see Snoop interview Kendrick on the Control verse. I love Snoop's GGN show. I watch it when I do the dishes... LOL

Word.. that was a dope episode. Interesting that Paul Rosenberg (Em's manager) was the link between Kendrick and Dre. I met Paul once at the EM/Xzibit anger management show. I said, "Paul Rosenberg...heard you signed Xzibit now too (management contract)... props... just keep doing what your doing"... lol.
