Title: does it make sense for an artist 2 put out music who has no fans?

there's a time when the artist just needs to give it up if u been around over 10 years and you cant sell shit u has to go
i understand if ur good and have fans then u should keep going what do ya think and who falls into this situation?

not really aiming at no one i just wanted to know every ones opinions now talking bout 40 glocc has his albums sold anything? was he ever popular?
