Meek Mill, who recently released his Kendrick Lamar diss track, "Ooh Kill Em," says he doesn't have a personal beef with Kendrick Lamar. The rapper also says that he told Kendrick Lamar that he had a response to his verse on "Control" that was going to be released.
"Yeah, I know Kendrick," Meek Mill said in an interview with DJ Whookid. "He's a cool guy. I seen him the other day. I seen him at Hov's party. I said, 'You know I'm loading up to fire back.' He's a cool guy, man."
When asked if there was any beef between the two because of "Control," Meek clarified his position.
"Nah, hell nah," Meek said. "I like that shit. I ain't mad at it. If you mad at it, then you must just be a soft dude."
And while he also recently released another track, "Kendrick You Next," a song dissing Cassidy, Meek Mill explained how he feels about being called a battle rapper.
"I ain't no battle rapper," Mill said. "I just battled [in the past] because that's what they was on at the time. But that's what we do. That's fun to us. When I come at people, I come at them, so it just be like crazy."
Lamar first mentioned Meek Mill on his verse from Big Sean's "Control."
"I'm usually homeboys with the same niggas I'm rhymin' with," Kendrick Lamar says on the song. "But this is Hip Hop and them niggas should know what time it is. That goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron[ica], Tyler[, the Creator], Mac Miller. I got love for you all but I'm tryin' to murder you niggas. Trying to make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas [and that] they don't want to hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas. What is competition? I'm trying to raise the bar high."
Soon after this, Meek Mill addressed the track with a statement.
"I'm in a lane by myself," Mill said at the time. "I'm the only [one] that's lyrically spittin' some street music and gettin' money. Kendrick [Lamar and Black Hippy], I'ma tell 'em in a rap: y'all can run that backpack, I'ma run these streets...We gonna have fun with it; get money. Hip Hop needed that."

He's such a pussy. Son felt the need to confirm with Kendrick that they're cool before he released his version.
To say like "Kenny, don't be mad at my response, don't beef with me. It's all fun and games, man".

Kendrick Lamar Appears To Diss Meek Mill During Concert
Kendrick Lamar appears to have dissed Meek Mill while performing in New York yesterday (September 10). The Compton rapper made a comment, likely referring to Meek Mill, while performing "m.A.A.d. city" in Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn, New York, according to Complex.com.
"That goes for new niggas," Kendrick Lamar said on stage. "But there's one. There's one that need to know there's really levels to this shit."
The comment is likely in reference to Meek Mill's song "Levels."
"Lil' nigga we don't rock the same clothes / Fuck the same hoes / 'Cause its levels to this shit," Meek says on "Levels." "Lil' nigga we don't drive the same whips / We don't fuck the same chicks / 'Cause it's levels to this shit / Lil' nigga we don't get the same paper / You a motherfuckin' hater / Boy, it's levels to this shit."

I've literally seen him like 6 times, once when he was still K-Dot where Jay Rock opened for Game, once at Tech N9ne/Strange Music, this past Summer Jam, and the other 3 were his headlining shows 2 being from this past year... dude always put on a good show even though he uses basically the same set for every concert lol it is hype as fuck though 8)
