but yea, phillip was an extremely important person in shaq's life and was there for him every step of the way

He has tons of love and respect for him, but it looks like Phil was very harsh, borderline abusive. But that's old school fathering, and it Shaq didn't seem to hold resentment to Phil. Now his biological father, that's a different story.

um... I don't think I said any different. I said borderline, but did mention it's old school. And the way it seems, it was old school child raising.
