And averages ten less PPG because D'Antoni says he can't keep firing if he's gonna shoot 32%.
-

If he got better over the off-season and if Wade is healthy (and motivated)... the Heat could 3 peat. It'll be tough, no one has made it to 4 Finals in a row since the Celtics from 84-87.
Not to mention, if the Beas and Oden pan out... wow.
-
heat over rockets?

Bron ain't an all-time great though. :D

That's a possible match up. A healthy and motivated Dwight Howard. The only question mark for them is Asik. Can he stay motivated in a lesser role? Can he play with Dwight at the same time? Or can they flip him for another piece?
The Clippers have an outside chance, but losing Bledsoe and to a much lesser extent Butler & Odom hurts their Defense. Of course, if Doc can motivate DJ to be a Tyson Chandler type and get Griffin to play a lot more inspired on D, the outlook is brighter.
OKC didn't do much to make me think they're running away with the West this year, but you can't count them out.
San Antonio is the team that I've wrote off for like the last 3 years and they never stop playing tough.
Don't forget Golden State. They can run a Small Ball line up with Steph, Klay, Iggy, Barnes & Lee that could be real tough for stretches.
Bron ain't an all-time great though. :D

but yea, the thought of the rockets in the finals is quite hilarious...theyre gunna be a bottom seeded team. mark it.

I don't even know who the hell Tanner is.

I don't see how adding a top big man to an 8th seed team leaves you in the same exact place the next season. Of course, stranger things have happened, but logically it doesn't make sense.

I have only read the name Tanner when you guys started saying I was that guy. But, yeah, no clue.
We're talking about a team that won 45 games without Dwight Howard, you don't think he's worth an extra 10 games? I can't believe that. Bare minimum, I see the Rockets as a 50+ win team this year. You have to remember, Memphis will more than likely have a down year. Dallas is still not going to be great. Same with NO (unless their back court plays lights out together). That just leaves San Antonio as their main threat. If McHale can figure out how to play Howard and Asik together that counters the size of the Spurs. Parker vs. Harden is a great match up. I'm buying what the Rockets as selling, on Paper.

lol spurs, thunder, golden state and memphis will all be better...houston will be competing with lakeshow, dallas, portland, denver, unless dwight becomes a completely different player, stops turning the ball over, develops post moves, hits some free throws, and shakes his team-cancer label.
those who think dwight is some huge upgrade over asik are gunna be heavily disappointed.
-
No Clippers? Memphis is going to falter this year. They're bringing in a new Coach and didn't do much more than bringing in a broken down Mike Miller.
Denver with their new Coach and losing Iggy aren't looking like the 50+ win team they were last year.
As far as Dwight goes, last year, even through injuries and being unhappy, he had one of his best seasons in terms of Turnovers. Matter of fact, it was tied for his 3rd lowest of his career. Now he'll be healthy. Now he'll be happy. I don't think his Turnovers are his biggest issue. Keeping his head straight is most important. He has an organization behind him 100%. An organization that has been all in on him for a few years, even though he wasn't on the team. That's why I said, on Paper they are a 50+ win team.
-
LOLOL. He's head and shoulders times five better than Asik.
And McHale said he has them playing together; so even by your "slight improvement" logic, it's not an upgrade, it's a duplicate. Rockets will finish behind OKC, Spurs, Warriors and Clippers with a legit chance to finish over Memphis and anything could go down in the playoffs.
