Right, because Dr. J came up with a turnaround fadeaway jumper and sticked his tonque out while doing it ::)

And LMFAO + SMFH if you don't realize that Kobe took nearly every aspect of his game from Michael. Please, stop - comparing the influence of Dr. J on MJ's game to his influence on Kobe's game is just ridiculous. It's not even close.

kobe took about as much from Jerry West as he did from MJ....please, stop. ur brainwashing in terms of MJ is outta control. to act like MJ wasnt playing with the style that Dr. J popularized is blasphemy.

LOL, your the ultimate brainwasher when it comes to everything Kobe Bryant related and that statement clearly shows it. That's the real blasphemy.

it's true, though... kobe's style is more jerry west than it is mj. mj was more of a slasher than a shooter, while kobe is more of a shooter than a slasher ala jerry west. dr. j was more of a slasher than a shooter as well. kobe=west, mj=dr. j.....the shit about kobe sticking his tongue out and alla that is overblown- in terms of pure playing style, there is no difference from how much kobe studies his predecessors than how much mj did. kobe naturally moves, walks, talks, thinks like MJ- theres nothin he can do about that. theyre made of the same stuff, literally. their mindset and entire swagger is almost identical from a chemical compound perspective, no doubt about it...but in terms of pure playing style, if u dont realize how much more dr. j was important to the development of mj's playing style, than u just dont know

He might have been influenced by Dr J style but he took the execution n mastery of it to the highest level. N he has no reason to be bitter elton. 6 >>> 2. Lets not even get into the fact that he most certainly would have 7+ if he didnt do that dumb baseball move shit.

Off-topic,but I think there's a lot of misconceptions about his time in baesball. He left for it right after his dad was murdered apparently dude had always wanted him to play baseball. The perception everyone has is that he was garbage, but dude was actually progressing at a ridiculous rate for a guy that hadn't played since highschool and woulda kept moving up had baseball not gone on strike. Shows how ridiculous of an athlete he really was. Wouldn't exactly call it a dumb move despite what most people think.

You make it seem like he retired for 10 years the first time... like you said in other thread "If's don't exists" so let's stop all those speculations.

Playing baseball and riding around the country on a bus accompanied by enormous fanfare isn't exactly laying low lol
