For those unfamiliar, a pioneer of LA music scene, latin rap scene.. father of Scoop Deville .
He got the hit "La Raza". And more of 15 albums.
Dude is underrated? Always making good music..
For me, his 2 Ruthless albums was the best period .
But Kid Frost continues dropping good music...his All Oldies Series Vol 1 and 2 are very good..
He drop a new album last week "The Good Man".. great material and All Oldies Vol 3 is in the way..
Dude is consistent, but underrated by many people

Daps on the info.
Will check out the new L.P. and 'Oldies 2', as 'Vol 1' was full of low-rider jams.
His son did good with producing 'The Recipe'.

I used to dig his stuff that hit the radio back in the day (since it's not like we had money for buying the tapes when I was a kid). He really was a pioneer, but unfortunately not a lot of people after him made it, out of the Mexican communities in LA.

underrated, a lot.
-
never liked him he looks like a fake eazy e on the video la raza and all mex rappers sound the same
-
overrated

of course he is underrated lol! he started chicano rap! if eazy was alive it would be different ...cuz people hated on chicano rap and still do...it was hard for them to be recognized
so it kinda became a lil mainstream in the last couple of years...with capone-e and criminal!
The thing is most of the black mc's sold out.....makin pointless gay music....while chicanos make that real g shit...with that real g funk sound!
anyway back to frost...all of his albums are dope...he always keeps it 100 and 100% gangsta!
