In the past year, Lamar pulled in $9 million, about $4 million of which came from touring, FORBES estimates.

He did tour with Kanye in Europe. That'd make big money right there. Plus most artist make their money touring. Most albums barely break even because after paying the studios and producers, rappers barely have anything left for themselves. Now they do live off royalties forever, but the actual album makes hardly any money.

snoop made 10 mil from touring in 2011, it's not ludicrous to think that k dot could do just half that number touring, especially with a platinum album out and being one of the hottest names in the game. touring is how most rappers make their money nowadays.

Royalties (especially from Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe), appearance fees, interviews, album sales and downloads, merchandise sales, maybe some investments, YouTube clicks (yeah, that's a thing), Spotify plays (usually under royalties), many other things.
