I could give a fuck less what Miami does in the regular season. I thought it was hilarious. Wade's fail off the backboard was even funnier.

It's all about LeBron winning another MVP, ring & Finals MVP & closing out the threepeat.

Unless MCW & Philly get in his way. ;)

Write this down, read it out loud, "The Miami Heat will NOT three-peat." Right now I'd say Paul George is the MVP, and straight up I wouldn't doubt if the award goes to either him or Derrick Rose following a late surge. LeBron has a greater chance of being busted for PEDs than winning MVP this year. Quote me on that.

A year ago around this time people said the Heat "clearly lost a step" and might not even make it out of the East when they had their early uncaringness.

If this is a prediction going into the season, that's one thing...but if this is what you think after two weeks of the season, stop it lol.

As much as I am not a fan of Cham or the Heat... he does have a point in this case.   One loss during the regular season doesn't really mean anything (even though everyone is going to make a big deal about it).  Lebron and company will turn it up once the playoffs come.

You can search my old post. I've been on this going into the season.

One argument I'll use is that no NBA since the mid-80's Lakers have gone to the NBA Finals 4 years in a row.

U DO REALIZE THAT LEBRON TURNING UP ONCE THE PLAYOFFS COME IS AN OXYMORON, RIGHT?

Not this year man. To make the NBA Finals 4 years in a row is extremely rare. I think the Pacers or the Bulls will win the east.

if Lebron is healthy during the playoffs there is no chance another team win the NFL finals

but if Bron is unhealthy then I can see Miami being upset.  Bosh and Wade can't carry the team without LBJ though.

hahahaha

you can tell what sport is on my mind this time of year :D

Lebron could join the Broncos as a backup tight end, win the Superbowl and then come back to Miami in Feb and help them win the NBA finals too

lebron 2-2

kobe: 2-1

kobe being second fiddle to Shaq:  3-1   (Shaq of course being the star of the 3 wins, winning MVP each finals plus one season)

I've posted stats over and over and over again. In 1999-2000, Shaq was dominate and Kobe was a great number 2, but in 2000-2002, Kobe was equal to Shaq in almost every level and in the final championship run Kobe was the best player on the team by far. So this is truly a hollow argument.

So this is truly a hollow argument.

It's all really a hollow argument. There are dude's who were twenty in the 80's who swear Magic was head & shoulders over Jordan, Kobe & Bron, same for dude's in the 90's watching Jordan, same for Laker fans right now with Kobe same with me.

We'll all pull up stats just to defend our side of it. Then even when I do pull up stats, "the eye test" becomes the most true way to judge...until a stat works against me. ESPN analysts are "BSPN analysts"...until they say "insert here" is better.

It's all subjective & always will be.

Because he is. Almost everyone already acknowledges that unless you're someone who either hates him for Kobe/Jordan surpassing reasons or you hated his move to Miami & still haven't forgiven that.

Anyone who tolerates him already knows that. Stats, the eye test & everything else already shows it; unless he doesn't play to his level for the next 4-5 years.

It's just those biased view that need to see the light.

I'll say I think he's equal to Dr. J. He is the Dr. J of his era, the best damn athlete on the floor in any game he plays.

First of all, he retired when you were born, bruh. So don't act like you know.

Secondly, rings clearly indicate LeBron is better undoubtedly (Don't even mention the ABA). ;)

He did (damn, I was hoping to be seen as really old, but I can't lie, Dr. J retired when I was a little baby). But I will say this, looking at whole games and seeing the NBA from then, Dr. J was heads and shoulders above everyone else in terms of what he can do on the court. The man could fly.

As for titles. Hey, Dr. J was the man. He went to the NBA Finals many times. But right now, if their careers ended tomorrow, I'd place Dr. J and LeBron as equals.

Not a Lebron fan by any stretch and Kobe is my all time favorite, but to say Lebron is not on the same level as Magic,Jordan and Kobe is sheer ignorance. 4 MVP's and two championships, clearly the best in the game and he's only 28? Safe to say he's well on his way to top 5 ever.
