Is the remix actually called "BLACKstabbers"?
No, it was a misspelling. Previously recorded as a Daz Dillinger (Death Row) song before it ended up on the unreleased Mak Morrison / Death Row Europe album "Innoncent Man".
Mark Morrison released the album (with a lot of breand new songs and remixes) on Mack Life / Mona Records with several versions between 2004 and 2006.
Punjabi MC remix was HORRIBLE but officialy released (CD single and album).

Missed the mispelling, thanx for noticing!
As Don says, it might be not too good (Daz's version on his compilation "Who Ride..." obviously comes way harder), but it was officially released by Mark Morrison.

The Original version was released in 1997 called "Blackstabbers"

1998/99 Daz reworked/Remixed it
2004 was Punjab MC mix.

Agree witcha ;) but the Daz remix was actually titled "Backstabbers / Baccstabbers" according to several tracklists no ?
> Daz Dillinger "R.A.W.",
> "Innocent Man" Death Row UK sampler,
> "Innocent Man" album (not every pressing)
> "Innocent Man" promo single (the one with the labeled versions EastCoast/Westcoast mix)
Dat Nigga Daz / Death Row inventory list besides the tracks "Street Gangs", "U Make Me Wanna Remix"
So, I think the Daz remix was titled Backstabbers (and not Blackstabbers Remix) when the Mark Morrison version (Mack Life, Mona LP and singles) was titled like the original 97 version, "Blackstabbers"
But, Mark Morrison always released it as BLACKstabbers.

So was this originally a Mark Morrison solo track? It goes so perfect with Daz and Tray Deee.
