At a glance I thought your topic said John Travolta. I was about to bump my Saturday night fever CD in homage.

I don't know who this gentleman is but may he RIP.

That's pretty funny.
I doubt I would have made a thread in Travolta's honor though.

If you want to know who Tavener was check out the interview I linked.
Even if you don't listen to classic music it's a good interview because he had an interesting approach to creating music and an honorable worldview.
His observations on modern art are spot on.

Very interesting. I'm fairly certain he passed his test here and is somewhere much cooler now.  Thanks for posting.
