vince Carter hasn't been relevant in years. he road Dirk's coat tails to a title in his 30s but never could win a title as a star on either Toronto or New Jersey.
Howard at least has a few years left in his prime to win a title...not that I see that happening. But it could with that roster.

and dwight needed a cast of knock-down shooters, where he could play garbage man- gobble up rebounds for open putbacks. vince carter, though he did rely a lot on athleticism as well, actually has somethin called skill.

That was the style of offense they played. Why wouldn't they cater to it?
The Magic were in shambles when he left ala LeBron leaving the Cavs. Can't deny that he took them to a Finals. That's pretty impressive for a "garbage man" considering there are other rebounding dominat bigs in the league that don't come close to the Finals.

stan van gundy took them to the finals...once van gundy left, the entire team was broken up. u could replace dwight wit deandre jordan on that team and they still woulda been the same.
