yeah.. I don't know why I keep sleepin... bout time I checked out the whole album. I also always loved the joint South Central Cartel did for the Show soundtrack. I'm sure I'd like the album..
-
I never knew of this either
-
classic, I used to bump the album daily in high school, it's an SCC thang (from N Gatz We Truss, not the other song from Murder Squad) is my shit.
SCC have some of the best posse squad, shit their Murdersquad Nationwide is a classic with timeless East (Treach) South (Big Mike & 3-2) West (Spice 1, Ant Banks, Ice T etc.) collabos
SCC are very slept on yet their camp dropped a lot of heat in the late 90's whether under the Murdersquad, SCC or Havoc & Prode'je imprint. Prode'je is one of the best LA producers

i'm guessing you haven't heard his songs with Young Lay, Mac Mall & Ray Luv (Gotta Survive), E-40 (Dusted & Disgusted and Million Dollar Spot), The Governor & Richie Rich (Gaffled Like That), Too $hort (4 Tha Hustlaz and We Do This) or Spice 1 (Jealous Got Me Strapped / Can't Turn Back) either.

Yeah cool song. I own this album on cassette. Back then i wasnt even a big tupac fan i more liked ice-t and spice-1 and them.
Think i was like 12 or 13 when that song came out.(or maybe like 14-15 i forgets)

Yeah we used to listen to mc eiht too. Spice-1 and mc eiht and ice-t were the main gangsta rappers back before deathrow took off, thats how i remember it anyhow.
But i guess back in that era gangsta rap was so big it wasnt just about dogg pound and snoop, they just kinda took over.
I did sleep on SCC a fair bit after that album. If i recal most the albums they did later there were less members?
I have one that two of them did together, i remember L.V being on it a fair bit. I forget the album now. Need to relisten to some of that stuff some day.
