Title: Bynum suspended

About Bynum suspension, league source tells Yahoo: "He doesn't want to play basketball anymore. He never liked it that much in first place."

Hilarious.

Rumor has it Cleveland approached the Lakers and they wisely said thanks but not thanks.

bullshit rumor...bynum is damaged goods. if it wasn't for the knee injuries, he'd be hands down the best center in the league right now. it's a sad thing watching him play with cleveland. while he was still really really good, you could see the explosion just wasnt there. still had some 20-10+ games in limited minutes, but you could tell he just wasnt able to play how he could prior to the knee injuries...i wish bynum the best, though, but his interest genuinely seems to be somewhere outside of basketball right now, and i dont blame him with all the abuse his knees have taken. if u cant perform to your capabilities, your bound to lose interest in what you're doing.

the funniest thing about this is that philadelphia offered bynum a max contract after trading for him, which bynum turned down....the guy literally lost 100+ mill because of his belief in himself. now, he's leavin 20+ mill with cleveland. if this is the end, it's as sad an ending as one coulda imagined.

Lakers should have signed him.  The Mamba could have energized him back to his former glory.  Still worse than Dwight though.

i doubt it, d'antoni would do him dirty like he does every talented big

but at least he'd let bynum shoot threes like he always wanted

The Lakers can't handle any more knee injuries.

lmfao, isnt that the truth. God, D'antoni is horrible.

Bill Simmons said Bynum is interested in joining Clippers which would be good for him as CP3 could do wonders for his career right about now, and Clippers could really use extra big men depth, but realistically I can't see Clippers wanting anything to do with him at this point. Not caring about basketball is one thing... we've known he stopped caring for a while now. But now that Cleveland is reporting that he's a locker room cancer, teams are REALLY going to hesitate when negotiating with the dude.

He just might be done in the NBA.

i bet he feels like his minute limitation is bullshit and wants to play as a 35+ minute per game starter..

"I believe Andrew has always had the potential to help a team when he puts his heart into it. He just doesn't seem to be consistent with his commitment to the game. That can lead to alot of frustration for any team that has signed him.

When I worked with Andrew I found him to be bright & hardworking but I think he got bored with the repetitive nature of working on basketball fundamentals day in and day out... but they are the keys to long term success.

In my opinion Andrew is the type of person who walks to the beat of "a different drummer". So we won't know the facts until Andrew decides to tell us what actually is the issue and shares his thoughts." -Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Major cap dump.  Would be interested in seeing Pau with Kyrie.
