The dogg pound gangsta lp was a great album, daz should make more music like this.

Indeed - a great all around album full of dope g-funk jams 8)
Probably the most underrated track with Nate Dogg EVER ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmhHSJ7acoI

i b sayin da same thing. its amazing how some Artists swear by "keeping up with the times" will make them more successful - most anyway. Verses doing the same thing that got em phamous in tha first place... amazing.
i understand wanting to Do You but sometimes....
-
nice how he flipped that sample by roger, also used by 2pac i think the track is called "be alright"
daz can make great beats if he´s not following the stupid-southern-edm-bullshit.

If I recall correctly, he made that album when he was with JD. He had access to the studio, etc. That's why it's a better album. Now he sits in his underwear smoking, and using fruity loops with that ridiculous drum machine screaming into his radio shack mic.

I don't know I'm not really an expert on the second half of Daz career the way I am the Death Row era of his career. But for my ears I thought the So So Def album was slept on and a lot better than the album ya'll are biggin up in this thread.

Daz should have splurged and purchased one video ho for this video. How you gonna make a video for a song about fucking a bitch and not even include a bitch in the video? Daz is too cheap and broke.

Well there's a hell-of-a visual. I haven't bothered to listen to any of the albums Daz released since DPGC You Know What I'm Throwin Up. But I see everybody making the same complaints....is his shit really that bad these days?

funny post..., yeah, seems kind of odd dudes likin this video. It's a little bit too much of Daz, num sayin, Daz in the shower, Daz in the bathroom. A little too much, lol.
...but yo, Daz ain't broke. Daz is paid. Why you dissing Daz homie. You know better than that

Always thought so so gangsta was really generic sounding for the time it was made.
It sounded like an attempt to crack the mainstream but wasnt good enough too.
Imo the album isn't a patch on dazs best work.
-
Daz first 3 albums were as dope as can be 8)
however since then his solo work has been spotty
-
retaliation, raw, this life, dogg pound gangsta lp, u know what im throwin up & i got love in these streets where good albums. but everything else is terrible, i wish i could see daz face to face and say WTF Man what happened? i'm just getting to the point where its like I GIVE UP. i'm tired of being disappointment again and again and again, and i always get hyped every time he announces a new record but than get let down, my ears can't take this shit no more.
