Can someone tell somethin more about it? I heared interviews with Bizzy, Hopsin and few others artists and everybody said that after Eazy's death Tomica fucked all up. Why? What did she do?
-
ruthless was doin' well until she came and she doesn't do anything to keep eazy-e's legacy alive so fuck that bitch !
-
because she's an ignorant, abysmal, trife ass dike hoe.
-
Now i know everything guys ;D But some facts?

1995-2000 was good period for Ruthless too - many platinum and gold albums + Bone Thugs's multi platinum. Eazy didn't record much material like 2Pac, so I'm not suprised that only Impact of a Legend was released.

true I'd rather impact of a legend not have came out if it wasn't gonna be in og form. they had above the law, mc ren, yella, bone, etc. and they left cause they didn't want to be around tomicka she fucked it up.
-
Ruthless isn't like Death Row, there's not countless unreleased projects laying around. I think it's better to let Ruthless die peacefully then release a bunch of half ass projects.
-
^agreed. eazy shoulda left the company wit dj yella or ren it probably would have lasted longer.
-
What? Eazy should left his own company? ???
Guys u only telling that Tomica is bitch, blabla. But why old squad left Ruthless? What did she do - besides being bitch ::)

he signed papers leavin' tomicka in charge of ruthless. the label shoulda went to ren or yella.
-
Ahh didn't look at this that way. Agree Yella should take care of buisness - he always ride wit Eazy.
-
Eazy was on his death bed when he signed over Ruthless to Tomica

No.. it's a good question. It seems like it's the cool thing for rappers to talk shit on Tomica Wright. But what did she actually do that was so bad? I mean, once Bone started branching out with Mo Thugs was when the quality of their material started to suffer. All those little projects they did solo or on Mo Thugs would have like one or two bangers and the rest of the album would be filler. But the EP, the LP and the Double Album the did for Ruthless was all quality material.
Jerry brags about fucking Bone over in their deal for East1999 Eternal, but that's not Tomica's fault.
I mean... it's very likely Tomica ruined the company, since she was just one of Eazy's girls.. but what's the proof?
-

exactly and she played on that. it was even said that he wasn't plannin' on marryin' her she was just one of his bitches. pull up those fbi files they had on eazy.

this sums it all up

It seemed like it was mostly Bizzy Bone who was talking shit... from his BET interviews to his lyrics (mentioned in a number of songs from Heaven'z Movie like Thugz Cry where he calls her the "black widow"), he always showed his distaste for her (and eventually Ruthless too, since he wasn't in videos and eventually wasn't involved in their albums) but never exactly said what his problem was. But then Bizzy kind of went crazy, and he still kind of is... you can see it in any recent YouTube video of him.
My guess is that everyone was sad about what happened to Eazy, and they either weren't receptive to a change in leadership. I'm sure that she probably made mistakes, but it's not like people were expecting her to have all of the knowledge anyway. People say that Yella or someone would've been better, but it's not like Yella has proven that he can RUN a label rather than just doing beats or whatever. And it was EAZY who had Tomica take over anyway.
-
Yeah but Yella should take uthless cuz he was on it from start and always was with Eazy. He did whole album dedicated to him and produced few songs on 187um Killa - for me it's showing which site he choose. Even Ren didn't want o diss Dre.
-
the question is: who´s the bigga bitch: tomica or jerry heller.
-
But we know why people hate Jerry - cuz he offer N.W.A bullshit contract and was taking Ruthless for him, but Tomica? Another question: Lil Eazy-E is son of her?

why was it a "bullshit contract"?
i dont think lil eazy is her son.i could be wrong tho.

If wasn't then Cube wouldn't leave like Dre later :) They get 70000$ split for 5 guys - after Straight Outta Compton sold 2 milion copies. Don't U think that ~10k for multi platinum album is bullshit? For comprare 2Pac get 1 milion every milion CD's sold, so they get less then 1/10 of it.
It was the same problem with Eastsidaz - Tray Deee and Goldie get only 1%. They tried to reach 15% - 5% for every member, but didn't make it.
-
With Bone, it mainly came down to money, as in Bone wasn't getting as much as they thought they deserved. Which is the same for 99% of artists--nobody feels they are getting enough.
But there are some other reasons. "Heaven'z Movie" was butchered on release, with many songs being left out or cut down to one verse, which did not help Bizzy's career as a stronger album would have helped him quite a bit, and the material was there. Flesh was removed from songs from "Art of War" because Tomica didn't want to pay him (he was never under contract to Ruthless). And "Thug World Order" had many of their best songs removed for lesser ones, which hurt them as well.
But really, these are typical music industry complaints. I'm sure she was in over her head though. She didn't sign one single act that did a thing, for example.

No, Lil E isn't her son. Tomica was only with Eazy toward the end, and by that time, I think Lil E was already a teenager.

But at the time, they DID agree to it and just didn't know what was good. Also, at that time, people weren't getting the kind of deals they can get now.

Well, if bone didn't like their contract, it was EAZY who signed them. Plus with Heaven'z Movie, there were sample clearance issues all over the place that prevented a few songs from being on there (hence why Bizzy dissed Seals & Croft and Paul McCartney in the liner notes). Flesh was still on The Art of War, maybe four or five songs... but that's nothing new, as he was usually only on one or two songs anyway on the previous bone albums.

Right, but Flesh was on many more songs than just those five for "Art of War". And they've since acknowledged that it was Eazy who signed them to the contract and wasn't Tomica's doing, although she refused to renegotiate it, which many labels will do when they realize they have a successful act on their hands that they need to keep happy. And true on Bizzy's album. I'm not saying all of it was logical, just saying what Bone was mad about.

Fuck Tomica Wright and Jerry Heller . They are dumb - moron people .
Eazy-E was the head. Visionary.
After he died, only left vultures on Ruthless management

This is another subject, but I just wanna say as a side note, anything Goldie Loc got he should be grateful for and never complain
