I just watched a few episodes of Season 2 of Cops. Los Angeles.

yeah I remember elementary school in the early 90's one of the kids rapping the whole Cops song on the bus. I hated that asshole. He also rapped "Whoop There It Is" one day.
Then in highschool he would write MattTangClan on the board instead of WutangClan... now that was probably the coolest thing he ever did.
Problem is... those kids only liked the rap that had crossover appeal, and they only liked it the MOMENT. Like, they liked Dre when "Wit a Dre Day" was poppin. They liked Snoop when "Gin and Juice" was poppin. They liked 2pac when "California Love" was hot. Then somehow Wutang became a little fad in white suburbs around the time "Triumph" was poppin. They liked Puffy and Bad Boy when "Mo Money No Problems" was blowing up. They liked No Limit when Ghetto Dope and Da Last Don came out.

I was raised watching Cops every saturday night at 8 from age 4 til about 13 when I started going out. I've probably seen this episode but damn if I remember it.

Yeah I think cops had similar timeslot early on here too. The whole family watched, lol.
