man, i really got to say...after all these years of fake ass rappers, it looks like there could be another great era for hiphop. many talent out there right now. these are my favorites
no order :
danny brown - i know many hate him for his skinny jeans and shit, but i don't care...i like his music and his rap style, he's innovative and dope
kendrick lamar - c'mon man! he is the man right now...hope he'll stay in this and lane don't fucks with the mainstream too much
schoolboy q - he got skills AND style...really lookin forward to hear his album..the tracks that leaked sound promising
big krit - he make dope beats and he spit nice..pimp-c biter or not..i like him
ab soul - third mention of tde...hope he'll be the third to release an album..really talented guy
other people that comes to my mind: action bronson, a$ap rocky, rittz, nippsey hussle, jay rock...

K.dot
ASAP Ferg
Schoolboy Q
Easy Lantana
Problem
-
Freddie Gibbs, Big K.R.I.T., Schoolboy Q, Chinx Drugz, Troy Ave
-
1a. AK
1b. Issa Gold
These two are part of a duo called The Underachievers. They're incredibly dope and incredibly slept on.
3. Action Bronson
NY is back on top baby 8).
4. Childish Gambino
Because The Internet was IMO the best rap album of 2013 and I will hear no word from anyone who disagrees.
5. Chance The Rapper
I haven't gotten around to hearing his entire discography yet but from what I've heard, he's pretty good.
Honorable mentions:
*Joey Bada$$
*Meechy Darko
*Zombie Juice
*Arc Elliott
*A$ap Rocky
*Dizzy Wright
*Trinidad Jame$
Note that "new" rappers, to me, are rappers who started popping up onto the scene no later than 2011. So no Based Gods or Fashawns or Kendrick Lamars or Nipsey Hussles or J. Coles.

Kendrick new? I started bumping dude shortly after I signed up to this website. That was 5 years ago.
There's no one I can think of who came out in the last 2 years who I care about.
edit: Vic Mensa I guess. Though I don't like that he went solo.

if we're going by this logic then I guess scratch Q off my list since I've been bumping him since 2008

Well when you consider the majority of the rappers that get talked about on this forum, Kendrick is pretty new.

Bishop Lamont and Hayes are dope. Too bad they arent arround no more - i only got to hear one Hayes mixtape and its somethin i'd like to hear.
Fuck Dre for his perfection fetish.
No filler, I wasnt interedsted in anybody else.
-
by new i'm talking about rappers who have less than 10 years in the game
Big K.R.I.T. (2005-)
Dom Kennedy (2008-)
IamSu
Joey Badass
Rittz
-
Kendrick is the only 'current' new rapper I'd call myself a fan of. Even then I'm not crazy bout looking up all his guest verses etc, just wanna hear a new album
Lotta interesting new acts out there but none other than him making truly great music IMO
Of the old school still active I got Big Boi and Nas right now at the top

IAMSU!
Problem
Nipsey
Joey Bada$$
Dom Kennedy
-
Hopsin, Big Krit Kendrick, Scoolboy Q, Asap ferg/Chinx D
-
Horseshoe Gang
Freddie Gibbs
Beast Coast as a collective (Underachievers, Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies are the ones I know so far)
Kendrick
Ab-Soul
I was a fan of Problem once and he's a great rapper but musically/beatwise I found almost everything he did in the last few years very uninteresting.
