(AllHipHop News) Two legendary names will be partnering together this upcoming April as the iconic Hip-Hop station 93.5 KDAY will be teaming up with the hallowed grounds of sports and entertainment, the fabulous Forum in Inglewood, CA for Krush Groove 2014.
“I look forward to continue this great concert tradition in a building (The Forum) which is just as legendary as KDAY,” said KDAY Program Director Adrian Scott in an exclusive statement to AllHipHop.com.
The event will also be producing another great pairing as the soon-to-be released Tray Dee will be rejoining his longtime rap partner Goldie Loc for a reuniting of Tha Eastsidaz.
At present time there is no word if there will be a complete Eastsidaz reunion but for now two of the Eastside Long Beach natives have been confirmed. Tray Dee has been serving what was originally a 12 year Prison sentence since 2004 but is now set to be released in March.
In past interviews with AllHipHop.com, Tray Dee has informed us that his partnership with Goldie Loc was dissolved for personal and unknown reasons but it appears that all is now well between the two which is great news for West Coast rap fans.
Also scheduled to appear at Krush Groove 2014 for the first time (and yet another great pairing) is Method Man and Redman as the two How High movie co-stars perform their classic jams together. Bone Thugs N Harmony, Too $hort, DJ Quik, 2nd II None, Daz & WC and the show’s first female headliner The Lady of Rage will round off the concert lineup (with more special guests to be included). Pre-Sale tickets for KDAY’s Krush Groove will begin on January 29 via Ticketmaster.

It seems like it's been forever but at the same time it seems like it was just yesterday.

i don't mind Tray Deee and Goldie Loc reuniting but the real new is Tray getting out of jail. That's a good look for the West Coast scene 8)

they're legendary as a group to me. But as much as i like Goldie he ain't legendary by himself though
-
Great news! Snoop ended with Dem Funk project so he's free now?

That was in context to KDAY and The Forum partnering up for the first time, two iconic figures in L.A. When I talk about the Eastsidaz, I refer to it as another great pairing within the scope of this concert.

LOL @ people that can't read.

Haha. Not at all. It's great for nostalgia, which all of KDay's concerts are, but that's it. The West Coast scene is trying to break out of the Snoop/Dre shadow.

Yikes!!! that´s some great news right here, they need to do a Eastsidaz album again. Push these new Generation on that motherfucka!!! like crooked i, horse shoe gang, techniec, badazz, tiny c-style or even the old ones like coniyac, suga free, butch cassidy, kurupt or fuckin peanut head daz..i don´t give a fuck.

I'd be shocked if Snoop worked with them at all on a 'big' album

Break out the ramen packets. Big Tre Dee about to hit the streets.

Word there's a lot of good new West Coast Music coming out lately. Dom Kennedy, Skeme and Nipsey dropped some of the best albums in hip hop last year, and currently DJ Mustard is running the radio. YG and Schoolboy Q albums both in the next 2 months. West Coast is good 8)

It's great for the West Coast if the young acts flourish and the older one's still do their thing .... everybody wins.
-
i dont know it just sounds to me like theyre agreeing to do a show for a paycheck, from what weve heard neither of them are on good terms or wanna work together. i just want a real tray dee solo album with good west coast beats
-
I couldn't be any less excited about this.
Let's just hope Tray Deee doesn't come out and Shyne Po. us

apparently they've cleared the air. I plan on finding out the story behind that once Tray gets out.

LOL Tray deee still got his flow but when he´s out of jail he´s will be more better because he´s on the streets with his homeboys and he will hit coniyac more often.
i bet with you if shyne would be in ny he would fix his rapstyle and his voice.

snoop does mixtapes with his children, he doesn't care to only make big-time albums, he's literally everywhere and up in pretty much everything...he did a dubstep project with goldie loc independently that no one here even knows about, and i'd be surprised if he dont do the same for tray deee when he gets out

That'd be dope. Not saying otherwise. Just can't see snoop putting full effort into anything now or any money, or pushing for label support
Only way this *could* happen in a real way if snoop feels guilt over Tray Deees jail time. Like payin him off. That or insurance against Tray goin ham on his azz lol

i guarantee it's guna happen
